OUR STORY
Meet Joe!
Joseph L. Jordan had a love for cars from his teenage years. After earning a degree in foreign languages at the University of Texas, he served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, using his unique skills in translation and code-breaking with the CIA.
While in the Navy, Joe picked up scuba diving, eventually becoming a Master Diver. When he returned to civilian life, he turned this passion into a successful scuba diving school. This led to opportunities in the oil industry, where he taught engineers and staff the diving skills needed for offshore rig work.
Throughout all this, Joe collected and enjoyed classic and antique cars. His work in the oil industry finally gave him the chance to buy his dream car—an antique Rolls-Royce Phantom (pictured below). At a social event, a friend asked to rent the Rolls for a family wedding, sparking an idea. Joe started offering his Rolls for special occasions and quickly realized there was a real demand in Southeast Texas for unique, rare transportation experiences.
He expanded his collection and founded Jordan Limousines in 1982. This soon became his main focus, and he gradually closed the scuba diving school. Since then, Joe has provided his service with a rotating collection of antique cars, becoming a beloved part of the Houston wedding and event scene.
Joe passed away in 2022, but his passion lives on through his family—his wife, children, and grandchildren—who continue to carry on his legacy.
“The real reward is seeing the smiles, hearing the laughter, and observing the joy of a family experiencing one of their happiest days... and knowing I helped make that moment special. Our clients aren’t just customers—they’re partners helping us preserve these treasures from the past for future generations to enjoy!”
